Jason Meier, Consultant

Jason Meier

Mr. Meier has over 30 years of progressive experience in the private club industry with over 25 years in senior management. He has a B.Sc. from The University of Toronto and numerous industry proficiencies that demonstrate his strong belief in ongoing education. Jason has worked for four exclusive private clubs in Ontario with a proven record of enhancing member relations, operational excellence, strategic planning, and continuous service improvements while ensuring financial stability. 


At each club Jason provided a customized strategic plan with financial modelling to bring the vision and mission forward. Jason continued to cultivate his team with the skills necessary to support the development of the club, strive to ensure positive member experience, quality, and value. This was achieved through the evolution of innovative ideas to drive the club into the future while preserving the strong traditions that made each club distinctive. 


Jason was the Champion and Key Facilitator in leading Directors and Executive teams through the Strategic and/or Business planning process. He was a key player in determining the future direction of a number of private clubs. 


Mr. Meier has been a member of the Club Management Association of Canada (CMAC) for over 25 years. He has served on numerous committees, and as a Director on the Ontario and National Board, including as President of the Ontario CMAC Board of Directors. In 2019, Mr. Meier was awarded the CMAC Club Manager of the Year through nominations and selection by his peers from across Canada.


He has been described as diplomatic, a persuasive leader, change agent, motivator, and a team builder. He worked closely with Directors, Managers and staff to develop and implement innovative member service initiatives.


Jason is supported by his wife and three children through a positive work-life balance. As a recent Cancer survivor, he promotes good health and self care to those around him and shares the inspiration quote from Robin Williams, “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.”

Strategic and Business Planning Initiatives 


A Strategic and Business Plan are two key documents that reflect the mission, vision and values for any business. 


The Strategic Plan is owned by the Board of Directors. We facilitate complete or refresher strategic plans to capture evolving expectations, alignment, and clarity across all levels of leadership.


The Business Plan is owned and created by management and approved by the Board. The CEO Capital Private Club Division’s approach develops practical business plans to guide decision making, data use, financial forecasting, and specific components unique to your business, for sound operational execution.
