As CEO, Mr. Velanoff facilitated the successful sale of MGIF to one of Canada’s major financial institutions. He semi-retired and soon after created a business plan and vision to build a consolidator salaried financial planning firm.
Very recently the business was sold to a
like-minded Investment Management firm for
a valuation multiple that exceeded the expectations of the company shareholders; beyond the valuation multiples in their business plan.
Richard is a 35 year veteran of the Financial Services Industry.
He has held Senior Management positions in a number of Dealer firms, including the Wealth Management and Insurance offerings. He has helped countless advisors grow their practices and improve their client offering. He has a wealth of experience in assisting advisors looking to make acquisitions, or prepare their practices for sale.
